KitNipBox Giveaway!

Happy Monday everyone!  I have a really awesome giveaway this week, especially for those of you who have the pleasure of being owned by a cat.  I mentioned last week that while I do love cats, it's been a long time since I've owned one personally.  I know a lot of the giveaways and reviews I've done have been geared towards dogs, not because I'm biased but because I actually own a dog.

I know many of you probably first discovered my blog through my list of pet subscription boxes post.  I've reviewed quite a few of the subscription boxes for dogs but know that many of you are interested in a box created for cats.  Not having a cat myself, I'm not really qualified to review cat subscription boxes.  However, the awesome people at KitNipBox have agreed to host a giveaway.  One lucky winner will receive November's KitNipBox.

KitNipBox has three subscription levels.  They have The Starter box which contains 1 - 2 items worth at least $15, but costs only $9 per month.  The Happy Cat includes at least 5 items worth at least $30, and costs $15 per month.  Lastly, The Multi-Cat box comes with at least 7 items worth at least $40, and costs just $29 per month.  I've looked into quite a few pet subscription box services and a lot of them seem to base price on what size pet you have, but don't offer different pricing options the way that KitNipBox does.  I really think that's an awesome feature.

No matter which box you choose, they come with items such as toys, healthy treats, and health and hygiene products.  KitNipBox also helps to support organizations such as the San Francisco SPCA, The PAW Project, Sean Casey Animal Rescue, and more!

Although, sadly, I don't have a cat of my own, I really enjoyed looking a pictures of happy kitties on the KitNipBox website and Facebook page.  Be sure to check them out!

And now what I know you've all been waiting for - more information about the giveaway!  The contest is open to anyone within the continental US.  The winner will receive November's KitNipBox for free!  The contest will run until November 2nd, when a winner will be selected and contacted via email.  To enter, just follow the instructions in the Rafflecopter below!

Don't have a cat?  We're still also running our Halloween dog treat giveaway (until October 30th) and you can enter that here.

Thanks for reading and good luck in the giveaway!

My cats have been wanting me to win one of the Pawsome boxes for awhile now. I am happy to be able to enter today. Thank you for the chance.

I share my home with four cats so the Multi-Cat box sounds like the perfect subscription. I love that KitNipBox gives back to the animal welfare and rescue community.

I purchased my first KitNipBox in August. They included a mylar streamer wand toy, made by Ethical Products. My beautiful, healthy 8 1/2 year old cat some how got a hold of the toy and ate the streamers off. He died shortly after having surgery to remove them. KitNipBox'es contain unsafe toys. They still partner with Ethical Pet Products, who have not just one, but many unsafe cat toys. Just look around on Amazon, and you can see how Ethical Products toys have killed cats, and many other have had to have surgery.

Please, do not use mylar toys. These are slowly going off the market, because of the huge danger they pose for cats. It's basically thick tinsel. Ethical Products, and KitNipBox still think it's fine to use mylar toys. My best friend is dead because of it. My sweet Latte died alone, and scared in a cage. He deserved so much better than that.

I am so so sorry to hear about Latte! I don't have a cat myself, and so don't know much about safe/unsafe cat toys, but I can certainly relate (unfortunately) to losing pets. Hopefully companies take responsibility and discontinue unsafe toys once they learn of the dangers.
