For our "not so wordless" Wednesday this week I wanted to feature our little Miyuki. It's been over a month now since I've shared new pictures/videos of the geckos. I have to admit that although I love the gecko girls, I don't usually find them to be the most interesting photo subjects. They're beautiful lizards, at least I think so, but they don't do much!
The most I can usually get them to do is slowly walk around outside of their cage. Feeding them is interesting, but not everyone likes to see them eating bugs - plus I've already posted a few feeding videos.
But if there's one thing loosing Barnaby reminded me it's that you have to take plenty of pictures of your pets while you still can! I take lots of pictures/videos of my dogs, and took quite a few of Barnaby before he passed. I'm so thankful that I have all those images to look back on now that Barnaby is no longer with us.
The challenge remains - how to take interesting footage of a lazy little gecko? I was feeding Aurora and Miyuki last night and looking at some of the plush dragons that I keep near their cage. Bingo!
It was fitting, I figured, to get some images of 'Yuki with a plush dragon, since I often refer to her and Aurora as my 'little dragons'.
