Yesterday, August 1st, we celebrated little Fen's 2nd birthday! Aw they sure do grow up fast.
It was a sweltering 90*f with high humidity so our planned trip to the park was out, but I think Fenrir had a fun day nonetheless. He spent most of the day playing and snuggling with his big brother Kit. My beloved Kitsune has been having a bit of a rough summer this year. A couple of weeks ago I wrote about how he's been dealing with a lot of allergy issues. Kit's always had allergies ever since he was a tiny pup, but his environmental allergies this summer have been particularly bad. Near the end of June/beginning of July he developed quite a few hot spots that have luckily since healed. We've been working with a holistic vet to get Kit's allergies under control and I've been optimistic that his current treatments seem to really be helping. Anyone who's been a Paw Print reader for any length of time, especially recently, probably already knows that I'm not a huge fan of the hot weather. Personally I'd rather be cold than hot, and my pets, for the most part, seem to tolerate the colder weather better than the heat as well.
