Happy first day of fall! 🙂 Today's post is going to be a short one. I have a lot to do today, but I wanted to stop by to wish everyone a happy start to autumn and to show off a couple of pictures I took of the boys. ...continue reading "Happy Autumn!"
Today our beautiful leopard gecko Aurora turned 9 years old!
Since we lost Barnaby, Aurora is now officially our oldest pet. Unfortunately there's not really too much you can do to celebrate a little lizard's birthday, especially when the little lizard is already as spoiled as Aurora is. ...continue reading "Happy 9th Hatch Day, Aurora!"
I'm writing this post early Sunday morning. My fiance Chris and Kit are snuggled up sleeping. I'd love to still be in bed with them, but our younger dog, Fen, almost always wakes me up early. Even after two years with us, he doesn't seem to understand the differences between weekdays and weekends, nor the idea of sleeping in. I make the most of it. I don't always want to get up early, but I try to enjoy my morning walks with Fen and afterwords I usually get quite a bit done around the house before most people are even up. ...continue reading "Pets Can Be Inconvenient"
Back in July perhaps our strangest pets, our 5 land snails, made their Paw Print debut. We've had them since June, almost 3 full months now, and they've grown an insane amount since we got them. All 5 of them are still alive and well, even Escargot who had a cracked shell and Princess Polka Dot who was the smallest, most fragile of the snail herd. ...continue reading "Where to Get Pet Snails"
Once in awhile people ask me whether or not Kit and Fen get along. It used to happen more often, I suspect because recently I've been posting more pictures of the dogs together. They do get along very well! I've actually been quite happy because it seems that the longer we have Fen, the closer the boys get. ...continue reading "Playful Pups & Bath Day"
Happy happy Monday! I hope that everyone had an awesome weekend. Our pack had a pretty relaxing weekend. We did manage to get the dogs out hiking on Saturday but the rest of the weekend we pretty much bummed around the house. I have a couple of projects I've been working on that I haven't had time for during the work week, so I spent the weekend working on those (more about that in future posts) and catching up on housework. Oh, and I also made our first apple pie of the season which, at our house, is a sure sign that fall is well on it's way. ...continue reading "Sept. 2017 Mini Monthly Dog Box of Awesome Review"
I mentioned waay back in July (and I'm sure other times as well) that Mr. Kitsune suffers from flea allergy dermatitis. When I say suffers, he really suffers. A single flea bite is enough to send him into a frenzy where he'll scratch and bite at himself until he bleeds. He sometimes looses spots of fur, and his skin gets dry and crusty. Yeah, it's not pretty. ...continue reading "How I Clean Pet Laundry"
For our "not so wordless" Wednesday this week I wanted to feature our little Miyuki. It's been over a month now since I've shared new pictures/videos of the geckos. I have to admit that although I love the gecko girls, I don't usually find them to be the most interesting photo subjects. They're beautiful lizards, at least I think so, but they don't do much! ...continue reading "Gecko Meets Dragon"
Hello everyone! I hope your September is off to an awesome start. The weather here started cooling down towards the end of August which the dogs and I have really been enjoying. The gecko girls love the heat of summer but they live in heated tanks so they'll be ok no matter how cold it gets. ...continue reading "The Future of Paw Print"
We're back! Despite having no real motivation to blog here after Barnaby's passing I knew that I wouldn't want to stay away too long. For now I'm going to try to get back to our Monday, Wednesday, Friday post schedule, although I may alter that a bit at some point. We didn't take too long of a break, but I figured I'd start back up with a simple update post. ...continue reading "Pack Update"
